I'm guessing that the video was in icy condition as the video car had a wobble just before the chim launched right?
Just slippy. You can get the rear end of a F-Type out fairly easily even in the dry if you want to. The electronics help prevent an accident but don't interfere with the fun in my experience. This happened to me last December, I squeezed the loud pedal and the back went, but you can correct the steering quicker than you can release the throttle or 'power out', so you correct then over correct and by this time you are in the wall. Bags of torque, no weight over the rear and an LSD, Its like a pedulum, you swing one way and then the other and once it starts, well you have seen the video. I was luckier, I managed to straighten out and drive alongside the hedge and not through it. I am sure we have all had 'Moments' usually on a roundabout in the wet.
He looked ok after the crash, and that is the most important thing at the end of the day.
It happens in a split second and unless you have cat like reflexes and are expecting it then it may end up bad.
But i know 90% of TVR owners have the reactions of fighter pilots and can cope with a bit of damp, ice or diesel on the road.

Over the years i've had a few moments like this but fortunately managed to collect it all up,never fully sure whats caused it as circumtances have always been diffent but it looks similiar to this you tube clip, the lurch to the left and away she goes.i've always had in later years, top rubber and aftermarket suspension and set up.
